Nationally, Moms for Liberty is a movement dedicated to cementing a better future for all. Founded in 2021, we have fought for impactful policy changes on the local and national wide levels. We strive to hold our leaders accountable, and to educate and empower others to take action. We work to ensure that our voices are heard for generations to come.
Our local chapter was created in April, 2022. Clarissa, Anthony, and Nicole started the Northumberland County Chapter in April 2022 with a divine calling to unite our districts to use one another's resources and activate knowledge within our communities. During the lockdowns, many parents were able to "see behind the educational curtain", whether your issue was/is with masks, Critical Race Theory (CRT), Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), pornographic books, or political activism in the classroom—we stand with you! Leave the parenting to the parents, let us teach our kids how to think not what to think. Schools are a center for reading, writing, civics, and arithmetic—With your help we can support our families, help build stronger school boards, educate the community at large—and restore education back to what it once was: a place where parents have a seat at the table.
What brings us together is our dedication toward our common goals. But we can’t do it without your help. Get in touch to see how you can get involved and increase our impact.
